New Style Sheet
I just made a new style sheet that weighs in at 1910 bytes (664 bytes after gzip compression). It’s pretty minimal no graphics, no colors besides black and shades of gray (except for links which appear in the default colors).
I know it’s not perfect, but I think it’s a good start.

Staticize
I just turned on the Staticize Plugin for WordPress. This allows page content to be generated once dynamically and then stored for future visits.
It looks interesting, I’ll see what I think.
Update: I’ve disabled it because it conflicts with the “Search Hilite” plugin.
