Coca-Cola C2

Coca-Cola C2 is a new semi-diet drink launched by Coca-Cola. I tried it at work today instead of the usual Diet Coke or Barq’s. It tastes a lot like regular coke, although this is coming from someone who drinks a heck of a lot more diet coke than regular. Others disagree and say that they can taste the difference between C2 and regular.

Spacers

I just had spacers put in my mouth. 12 total, 3 in each quadrant. If you’ve never had the joy of braces, spacers are the little rubber bands they put between your teeth before attaching the actual hardware. They are used to spread the molars apart enough to be able to get various metal bands in and around your teeth later.

It feels like I’ve got food stuck between every one of my teeth. And biting sucks because it forces the bands farther into the region between my teeth causing pressure on the tooth itself. Hopefully I’ll get used to it soon.

Life Assessment

I just took this life assessment quiz that I saw on Mark Pilgrim’s Site.

I scored a 76/100, which shows that there are areas for improvement in my life.

Most notably, I’m deficient in the following:

Physical Environment:

  • My personal files, papers, and receipts are neatly filed away.
  • My car is in excellent condition. (Doesn’t need mechanical work, repairs, cleaning or replacing)
  • My clothes are all ironed, clean and make me look good. (No creases, piles of washing, torn, out-of-date or ill-fitting clothes).
  • I am not tolerating anything about my home or work environment.
  • I back up my hard drive at least monthly.
  • My bed is made daily.
  • I have nothing around the house or in storage that I do not need.

Well Being:

  • I rarely use caffeine. (Chocolate, coffee, colas, tea) less than 3 times per week, total.
  • I rarely eat sugar. (Less than 3 times per week).
  • My weight is within my ideal range.
  • I don’t rush or use adrenaline to get the job done.
  • I have no habits which are unacceptable to me.
  • I have just the right amount of sleep.
  • I use well-made sunglasses.
  • I walk or exercise at least three times per week.

Money:

  • I have excellent personal insurance. (Life, accident, disability, medical etc.).
  • I have a financial plan for the next year.
  • My will is up-to-date and accurate.
  • My earnings are commensurate with the effort I put into my job.
  • My earnings outpace inflation, consistently.

Relationships:

  • There is no one whom I would dread or feel uncomfortable “bumping into”. (In the street, at an airport or party).
  • I always tell the truth, no matter what.
  • I have a best friend or soul-mate.
