   Let me clarify the ‘it doesn’t work statement’:

   Some weird problems crop up when I enable the plugin (and disable the other textile one).

   # Sometimes the server decides to just return a page with no content at all
   # I’ve gotten errors saying that the script has taken up more memory than the 8mb allotted to it by php

   Brad, I just made a slight change to the plugin file that will, to the best of my ability, use the smallest possible amount of memory. Just download it again from the same location. If you can send me any more specific errors, that would be great.

   I have the same problem here. I couldn’t figure it out at first! My yearly archives and some of my monthly archives simply refuse to display. I’ve turned it off for now… it’s a shame… I’ve been waiting for someone to port Brad Choate’s Textile 2.0 to PHP for months.

   I did notice that the code was written to mirror the Perl version, which of course would not be the most memory efficient way of doing it. Maybe if people keep having problems, someone can take the code and optimize it. Sure, it’ll make it harder to keep up with any changes, but the code doesn’t do us any good if it doesn’t work.
