Update

Wow! It’s been so long since I’ve last done this.

Let’s recap some important events:
Friday was a night never to be forgotten (or remembered for that reason). I owe Beka the most sincere apology (although I don’t think I was as bad to her as she described it). Note to self: unless you want the wrath of Beka again, stay away from Nick Cruise’s drinks.

Saturday and Sunday were filled with Basketball band (too bad the Gopher’s can’t win ever…) and homework. I had to type up my lab report for physics… quite an indepth piece of work. The Oscar’s were on Sunday and surprisingly I guessed 14/24 correctly, a pretty good feat since I hadn’t really looked into what the critics thought. It did help that I had seen a good number of the movies on the ballot (and mostly the ones that won as well). Max’s Oscar party was fun, but I didn’t stay for too long (had to get the homework done and there were too many Grand Rapids High Schoolers).

Monday went quickly-mostly working on that pesky physics lab report and wasting time playing with Textpattern.

Tuesday is for Physics Lab. Time to play with radioactive stuff! Kinda crazy. Nothing like the Geiger counter reporting 2000 counts in the matter of a couple seconds.

Ooh, and Tuesday Night is for Caucuses! I went to the DFL one. It was kinda interesting but mostly a lot of formalities. I at least felt that I was able to have my opinion heard (through a straw poll for the presidential candidates and voting on several resolutions). I voted for Edwards (who turned out to be the candidate to receive the fewest number of positive votes). Interestingly enough (well, not really since it is a college campus), Kucinich got the most votes (43), then Kerry with 32-ish, and lastly Edwards with 13. I really considered voting for Al Sharpton, but wussed out in the end and voted for Edwards.
