New Feature!
It’s called LiveSearch. To see it in action, just start typing some search terms into the search box on the right. Cool, eh?
Since it be talk like a pirate day, I’m runnin’ all me posts through a filter that turns it into pirate speak.
With any luck, this’ll be removed tomorrow so you can have normal text again.
So now I’ll be redirecting all requests for www.bfroehle.com to bfroehle.com. All of your old bookmarks will work. And now you’ll never have to worry about typing the www. here again.
For some reasons why I chose to do this, see www. is deprecated.. This follows in the footsteps of sites like slashdot.org, PhotoMatt, &c.
I just upgraded to Kubrick 1.2.5 which was no easy task from 1.2.4. Some features are now missing (namely some overly hacked 404 features).
Leave a comment if anything is broken. Soon up, a new layout assuming I can learn photoshop.
Sorry that you were unable to post coments for the past few weeks. I unknowingly changed some of the code and you got a 404 message when you tried to submit a comment.
It is fixed now. My apologies.
I updated Adam Gessaman’s WP-Textile plugin to version 2.0.4. You can find the new file in the downloads directory. *NB:* This fixes compatibility problems with WP-Textile 2.0.3 and PHP 5 .
Secondly, 404 errors now try to search the site for posts with similar content. Hopefully this will save some time for somebody.
In case anybody was wondering how I’ve got my Photos section setup:
I’m using a modified form of PhotoStack 2.0b13 that uses cruft free URL’s. Feel free to use my differences or get the whole thing. Note that you will also need to make a .htaccess in your directory to setup mod_rewrite. The .htaccess that I used is also available
